heavy work...... i wanted to make a mod for fs2 with the stuff i can download at hlp .. it thought something like that:

The last ship of the GTVA does jump back in time .... It appears long time after the second great war ....the commander is going to tell the GTVA the whole story.....

The Shivans in future (even in his eyes)got the ability to jump back in time .... and... they did it... they jumped back in time destroyed everything! Even with 2 other races they had no choice of stoping the Shivan force. After the commander said everything a small shivan force does arrive the beginning of a big shivan invasion wich must be fought becuase there is no trick like the destruction of subspace portals or stuff like that....

To show the new Shivan techs i turned the shivan shieldcolor to red and gave them weapons with the doubled amount of damage . i even improved the shields from 1000 points to 2000 points so they are very heavy to hunt down (as i testet the first mission i lost 2 squads (all with 4 hercs mk 2) against one wave ov 6 basilisk ships)


So here are my problems.......
I cant make the people speak (im only 15 years old and from germany it sounds damn bad if i speak the captain of one ship that comes from future...)
my second problem is that i can´t make ships...... it would be super if someone can tell me where i could get a shivan cap.ship that looks a bit more like it comes from the future..... ah yes or has someone ships from the "old ones"(the guys who built the knossos )
it would be very cool if you can help me !


(im working with all the texts because i just cant draw anything not even a borg cube and thats very bad....) so i think i need someone who can help me with ships or stations .....

I`d reccomend reading my FAQ and having a good look at the tutorials within the modding section. They'll help you get started if you want to try your hand at making your own ships. Don`t let your age or inexperience with 3D hold you back unless you`ve tried it. I personally thought I 'd be useless at building anything in 3D yet a few months after I first tried I`m now just mediocre

There are also links to volitionwatch Archives (which have lots of Mods) You might also want to try looking at the download pages of projects hosted both here and on HLP.

yes but er... the problem with my ages is my voice i do not sound like the captain of the new GTVA Capital ship ...... and i cant speak more than one person and just reading the texts in the left corner is a bit boring dont you think so?




and the other problem is making a ship model dont i need a expensive program ?

does it work with blender?
or milkshape 3d?!?

Links to a free copy of Truespace 3.2 in my FAQ now. That should be all you need (more expensive programs may make it easier but you can do everything you need to with the programs I`ve linked to).

As for the voices. Get the missions finished and if people like them you should be able to get people to do voices for them. Voice is one of the last things to add since if you even change a single word in your briefings you`ll have to get them redone.

ah well the prog in your faq looks good but i can´t use the help files im 15 yeares old and had 3 YEARS no english because our teacher couldn´t controll the class........
i hate german schools........
