iv'ne been trying to get my hands on one, i've got some good new and some bad news:

th bad news is that it's out of stock at the publisher,in this case a white label thingie. the good news is is that there might be a reprint, i repaet, might, this is just waht i haerd from the bookstore where i ordered it.

iv'ne been trying to get my hands on one, i've got some good new and some bad news:

th bad news is that it's out of stock at the publisher,in this case a white label thingie. the good news is is that there might be a reprint, i repaet, might, this is just waht i haerd from the bookstore where i ordered it.

Yeah, my copy mysteriously disappeared, and i turned my house upside down looking for
it. so i decided to buy a copy offline... i got nothing, stilll looking... nothing. I'm
wondering if this game actually existed or if it was a figment of my imagination. I only
stopped playing for a month ( got GTA3 ) and now i cant even play it anymore. Oh look, i
found this illegal website where they have pirate copies, as against my morals it is, i think
im gonna do it ( apologies to volition and interplay )

CENSORED: Sorry, we have a policy against warez on this public forum, no matter what the specific license agreement of FreeSpace 2 may say.

you could go dl it over at [URL=http://www.the-underdogs.org]UD[/URL] its missing voice overs, cinematics, and i think mebbe a few other things, but you can easily get them off friends prolly...

Speaking of which, the link STILL has not been mentioned on the front page which IMHO is a disgrace, considering how many new people could be introduced to this wonderful game .

To fill up th patches here, that version is missing:

90% of Voice overs (mission specific ones)
All cinematics except for endings
Music files (I don't know what the heck they did this for... I'm currently trying to find out how to re-incorporate the music files into the game again... check back on me [note i'll post a thread about this soon])
Non-upgradeable, stuck at 1.00, unless someone can provide us with the original 1.00 freespace 2 EXE. If you do find someone willing, please send me a copy too. You can find a no-cd crack for 1.2 at gamecopyworld.com .

And about the warez site... just out of curiosity... does it include the missing elements ... :-/ *wink*

u can download the voice overs links are posted in one of the fs2 related threads in the tech forum, really just needs high res textures and its good, the movies are just too big they should convert them to a much smaller format like div x mpeg-4 etc. For high res textures i think you just need one file, big tho.
