Installation

OK, I'm a muppet

I've been rebuilding my box and I've gone and forgotten where I need to install the files for TBP...

I know the instructions are around on the site somewhere, but I be damned if I can find them...

Run the exe files. Either it tells you where to put them or it does it automatically. Me no remember which it was.
Anyway it should be as easy as shooting one legged flies with a minigun.

I thought that TBP installation puts the required files to their own folders by it's own.

You just need to install 'core files' to <your Freespace 2 dir here>/data directory , same thing applies to music, animation and other packages.

I just hope that I remembered the installation process right.

I thought that TBP installation puts the required files to their own folders by it's own.

You just need to install 'core files' to <your Freespace 2 dir here>/data directory , same thing applies to music, animation and other packages.

I just hope that I remembered the installation process right.

But anyway, point the installation directory to your FS2 /data folder and the files will be extracted to correct directories.
