RF2 With Online Multiplayer

K we have all read the gamespy interview. Now i got given this link from philip who we all know in RF. Yes the annoying dude. I looked at it thought yeah ive seen this before. then you look at bottom and what does it say. Multiplayer support over Lan and Internet.

http://www.gamespy.com/games/5459.shtml

I think the interview with THQ was either miss type or the THQ guy interviewed messed up. In all I can honestly say now im 99% sure RF2 is coming out WITH Online multiplayer.

I think FURY deserves some for that.

Now I have to head over to Red Faction HeadQuarters and see if he posted it there

Let's all hope that FURY found the right info

We all know how big ass companies dont like backing down on mistakes they have made until its to late. Could be same case with gamespy.

As far as I know, there will be no online multiplayer in RF2 PC. Unless something has changed recently and we didn't hear about it, you can assume the THQ interview is correct.

todd do u know any reasoning for this decision?? i have a few ideas why... but am not sure, like because of the hastle and time restrictions of writing the multi side solely for PC OR the hastle cause by the community with the developers over the first installment....

dont thq feel this will be detrimental to sails?? after all FPS are really a multiplayer game its the best way to play em without multi they may as well be a platform game picked up and reshelved within a week....
Bots are never good enuf and begin to get monotonus and predictable.. oh well wonder whats the next game i gotta wait for now... seeing how i gonna have nothing to play after this terrible news..... and thq thought rf on pc did bad lets see how bad rf2 does
