Question Summoner I - HELP!!!

Hi everyone, i'm pretty new at this game and i really need to hear some advices about certain things.. so please..

1. I'm playing this game for about a week or so (and it kicks ass!!) and i'm at the part of searching some guys who made the summon rings, now i noticed that when i'm fighting with my summons my rings that are on my hand gain more power (so far so good).. now i was about to switch the ring of light with the ring of stone (cause the elemental creature really suck in the swamp) when i noticed that just as i past the 60,000 power points of that ring i got this new creature (wraith, which kicks ass!).. so my question is how many "power points" do i need from each ring to get another creature? (the ring of darkness for example has 71,000 and still nothing more than the "Blackfire elemental") does the ring of darkness has any other creatures i can get? and if it does.. then when? cause i'm about to put it aside for the ring of stone (just got it and it only has like 6000 or so..).. so if someone can please write me approximately when do i get each creature from each ring i'd be REALLY HAPPY!!!

2. what is all this "chain attacks" ? i'm playing Joseph from the beggining and i got like 8 new chain attacks for him.. but the other charecters has only the 4 basic one.. how do i get new chain attacks? every battle i'm doing this "right click" with the mouse (with Joseph i got to 29 chain attacks) but no matter how much chains i'm doing.. i'm not getting any new chains.. how does this system work? do i need to get to a certain amounth of chains in order to get new ones? or is there something else involved? i'd appriciate ANY help possible cause i read some of your comments here on the site and everybody talks about these GREAT chains that Jekhar has and stuff.. and i don't know why i don't have them.. (Jekhar and Rosalind are level 14 and Flece are 16 and they all have only 4 basic chains while Joseph is level 16 and has about 8 or 9 chains!, is this normal?!?! )

Help?!

Summoning Rings are part of the main story, you will get more rings and lose them as well, there is an overview on my site.....

You will get more chain attacks as you level up and complete more of the story, there is a lot more in store, but your skills and abilities will come and go depending on where you are in the story......

Sorry if this sounds vague, but it could spoil things if everything was revealed straight away (especially the betrayal of Joseph)

Each ring only gives two summons, but the ring of darkness is a special case. You won't get it's second summon until very close to the end of the game, and only by completing an unidentified sidequest. (It doesn't appear on the quest subscreen)

As far as the leveling of chains for each character. You have to control each character and do the chains with them like you did with Joseph...then you get more chains. It takes a while though to get the really good ones.
