I can't kill Murod! I tried all kinds of different strategies. The old man is easy but I can't kill the thing he changes into (what is it, by the way?). He's just too strong. must be those orthopaedic shoes...

He turns into a demonic form of an Oni. Pretty hard to kill, lots of potions will help, but really you need to get your characters strength up, and put lots of points on Magic Resist and Heal.....

rosalind heals all the time. but after two kicks of this demon, she's dead. the others take approx. 4 kicks. is it wise to summon a dragon? because joseph always dies and then the damned dragon fights against me. I think I'll go back to the worldmap and practise a little more. (although I'm sick of fighting the same monsters over and over again)

Invisibility will reduce physical hurt, try and get some scrolls. Keep control of Rosalind and keep her out of the way if possible. Summoning is OK if you can keep Joseph healed all the time, otherwise it's better to leave hime at full strength.

NB: Make sure you kill the mages and collect any stuff lying around before tackling Murod....(Go round the edge of the room, and he won't see you)

Summon that flying ice guy (whats his name....eerg...can't remember). He was always useful with his healing effects and ranged attack.

Also, having top level healing abilities on at least one character is very useful.

The word of the day is Range, use Jekhar & Fleece up close but get Joseph and Rosalind away from him. Let Ros be a healer, Joesph healer/caster METEOR STORM!!!! If you can find a half decent knife use FLeeces backstab. Aside from that theres not much more you can do.

My technique is to summon the Water Dragon as soon as it appears that one of the characters is in deep trouble.

Other than that, it's a case of protect, faith and empower.

I used the same strategy, and won the first time I battled him. Quite easily actually. I had flece use a bow, summoned the red samurai, had Joseph and Jehkar use powerful melee weapons, and controlled Rosalind, I would cast Protect, Faith, And empower on Jehkar, he does 200-400 damage with spine breaker or foe splicer, or something like that. I then use offensive spells and vitalize to keep everyone healthy. If the protect, faith or empower runs out I cast it again. That's it.

Water dragon heals all character to full health (even dead ones) but be careful! It also removes all status effects - even ones you put on yourself. My best tip is to do a one-two - summon water dragon to get the team in working order, then forest dragon to give them faith, bless, empower,and regen.
