i am in the tower and fighting the boss guy with the eye, i finally beat him adn it takes me to the valley of kargatholan right....and i go to save...but no, it says i am in the middle of combat, so i cant save...so i go to attack, i kill them, and die. now i have to do the boss of the other level again

absolute bs, i am very disapointed

Didn't happen to me, but I had minimal damage inflicted by the eye-guy boss. I have loaded games directly into combat because of moving or replaced monsters. Still never a problem.

I have a pet peve abount continent-switching in Summoner2 though. When I left off to the arctic level I lost the minor quest to build another castle. I wish there was a way to tell when you're going to leave a continent for an extended period of gameplay.

I'm loving the gameplay, thanks to all the geeks in Champaign/Urbana--rock on.

I don;t think you should have lost it.
Once you compelte the battle at miridan's pass you cna go back to the palace. Kosi should be there now and you can complete the quest. I thought the same thing you did initially but was pleased to find him there after the battle.
