My opinions of quests
I wonder how many people are like me and have more of an obsession with completing all the side quests, finding that I am ignoring the actual main quests for hours just so I can complete everything I can, and finding that I spent hours on something that wasn't even possible yet, but found out and completed something I didn't know anything about. Ummm If any of that made sense

My brother's been borrowing my s1 copy for well over a year. I didn't beat it cause I got pissed off, I spent an hour an a half going down one of the final caverns and I got to the dragon boss where all the dead were walking and it locked up during the boss fight cause I was casting and switching characters to do multiple things at once, causing it to lock up. I haven't played it since, I really really enjoyed it though, and I will have to get my copy back to play thru it, it was just alot of people you didn't know where each quest would start and alot of ground to cover. I like the new way they did S2 cause they lowered the amount of regular citizens. Made it where you didn't spend 2 hours just talking to normal people trying to map out the friendly areas.

Yep, I'm quest crazy as well. Unfortunately, I like to "save" them until I have five or six going at once. This means I usually forget to complete a couple. Stupid eh?
Anyway, I love the things. Summoner 1, PC, I got Joseph to level 10 before entering the sewers just from sidequests and their associated mayhem. I like that, too.
And you did make sense, BiteofZim.

Spinespliter
I Loved that thing!!
It's behind a tree you gotta wiggle through some bushes to get to it....can't remeber exatly where it is though;...you are doing the avoid the poison trick by walking all the way to the left of it in solo mode right?

I never got that to work.....
I did try this mad stunt though:
I used Flece in solo mode and kept sneaking all the way to the bridge with the riders. Then as soon as the cut scene had finished, everyone was there, bypassing all the Onis on the way.
You do have to heal them up with loads of potions, but it is a fast track through that bit of the forest.....
Anyway, I finished the game for the 4th or 5th time, and chose not to be a God, but there's very little difference at the end.....
