Summoner Watch: Summoner 2 announced for Nintendo GameCube

Posted by Dynamo:

IGN.com is reporting that THQ has announced a port of Summoner 2 for the Nintendo GameCube. Although no official post has been made at either the Official Summoner 2 website or THQ's website, the article states that the port is being made by Cranky Pants, which is a division of THQ dedicated to Nintendo hardware. The GameCube version of the game will also feature a number of improvements to take advantage of the GameCube's more recent technology. As a proud Cube owner, I'm pretty stoked about the new port. Maybe a Red Faction II port to GameCube could be in the works as well. We can only hope.

You can read the article here.

actually there are some load times in s2 on ps2. like when you go to a new area on the world map or a new area inside of the areas. so i wouldnt say there arent any load times for the ps2 version. and ask for the gamecube version im sure theres gonna be some load times on that as well because almost every rpg has load times on it if theres any that you know of without them i would like to know what they are since im sure there arent many

GC is faster however...its almost equal of the X-Box in terms of processing power....so if the load times are processing heavy then the GC will do it faster. If its just data reading heavy...then it will probably be about the same.
