For a couple of months now, there have been a group of dedicated people who have managed to somehow put together a patch for Red Faction. Calling their patch 1.3, this is supposed to help decrease the amount of cheating that has taken over many multiplayer servers. No doubt that this patch is highly unofficial and a definlatey 'use at your own risk' type of thing, but the word I've been hearing has been largely good. Check it out at RFHQ which seems to be the nexus point of this project.
