Cockpits

Is it possible to show the cockpit of the ship that you are flying in in TBP? I hate that about FS2, you don't feel like you are in a ship since you don't see the "dashboard" and other things. Is it possible to put a model of the cockpit in front of the "camera" or something?

Are you sure you want to see the dashboard? It would take up a lot of the view.

hmph... I would like to see a cockpit but it should make some kind of movement when turning (example Starlancer)... Wouldn't want to watch a cockpit like in XWTF... It's dull...

The "camera" automatically ignores any part of the model. No matter how you modeled it you wouldn't see a cockpit.
