Combat federation needs .ani makers

I am looking for some people to make .ani's for some new weapons I have made. The good side of this is that you will get your name in the credits, and you will (hopefully if Shadow wolf lets me) Get to see the most of the new weapons.

I can't believe how little suport we've gotten from this forum. Our whole project has gotten zero support from here. At least at HLP the people pretend to be interested. If you people still want to help, we need some. But I don't expect any volunteers.

Add that to the fact that non employed ani makers are almost as difficult to find as non employed texturers are, if not more. Ani's require probably more work than any other form of FS modding, good ones anyway, and unfortunately there's not much in the way of automation for a lot of them. Look at the [V] ani's - even the smallest ones (not counting interface or hud ani's) have upwards of 20-30 frames, and each of these frames has to be made somehow, generally by drawing/rendering each frame individually. Ani's are very, very hard to do well.

:V:, I think, used TrueSpace or Max or something. I know that DragonClaw and Darkage make good anis (they've done some nice work for Over The Top) but that's all I can recall off the top of my head..

I read about your project over at HLP...definately the more substantial MOD fan base.

Finding texturers and modelers takes time. I spent two years with TBP looking for people to do the job...TWO YEARS! Thats not a short amount of time online. So just starting a project like this will take some time. Hopefully not as long as I was waiting (things are easier nowadays) but paitence is a virtue.

actually, we are pretty well set up now, getting it all together, it's finally happening.

Episode 1 now has a title anyway, "The Calm Before". each successive episode will go further into the storm, with episode 2 being "The Gathering Winds", episode 3 being "Comes The Rain", etc etc.

We could still use an Audio Coordinator, and a Missions Coordinator. it looks like i will be the one doing the source books.

They used MAX IIRC, which can output all the frames in order for conversion...very cool thing, is yon max
