Gamespy has a awesome preview of Summoner 2. Goes over the basics and provides some tasty screen shots that I haven't previously seen. Here's a quotation from the preview.

In a refreshing change of pace for an RPG, S2 doesn't start with an excruciating prologue: it throws you directly into the action, controlling a British-accented and large-bosomed woman named Maia. The ship of our homegirl is simultaneously caught in a massive storm and being boarded by scurvy pirates -- an ugly situation, but one that allows the graphic designers to show off the special effects capability of the brand-new 3D engine (which runs at 30 FPS with no slowdown), as enormous waves crash into the bow of the ship and sheets of foam erupt into the air.
