Freespace 2 story

Hey guys Another lame question for you all :P

What is the story of freespace 2? Is there a "Freespace 2 bible" or something like that?

Reference Guide sent. I looked through it again and, to my dismay, it doesn't expound on every plot point of the story in detail, but it does go into the various factions in depth. Hopefully you'll understand what happens in the game, as it does do some story telling, just nothing near as specific as a mission by mission description.

BTW, anyone know if the FS2 Reference Guide originally found at Restricted Access can be found anywhere on the web?
