anyways to the topic matter at present
when i run freepace2 it simply don't work i mean
when yo ugo to click the fs2.exe file the cutscence works but when you to the pilot selection screen it just bank no colors picture but myabe a little sound

there no error message saying anythings wrong justa black empty sceen iiicckk

im sorry for those "dumb post" but my hands were cramped arghh

that hurts

Saturn, I take it English is not your primary language? Cause what you type sometimes seems to be very incoherent.

Ok, have you tried re-installing the game? It sounds like one of your gaming files might be missing or misplaced. Re-Installing it should fix that, if that is in fact the problem. Do you have any modifications or did you edit anything in freespace?

Saturn, is your father a Gungan named Jar Jar by any chance?

The only other thing I can think that might be the problem is your video drivers. Make sure they are up to date, with the latest Directx. If that doesn't work, then I don't know what else to tell you.

Two possibilities:
1) Update DirectX if needed

...then, go to start menu -> run -> dxdiag and then the "display" tab, make sure everything is enabled and tests OK.

2) Get a different version of Detonator drivers for your 3D card.

Saturn_M, please recheck your posts for typos and other errors. It is sad to see someone that speaks english as his/her natural language and still types posts so full of errors. I can understand it when the person can't speak/write english so well...

My suggestions:
-Reinstall FS2
If it does not help:
-Uninstall current motherboard chipset, display and sound card drivers and install the latest ones, as well as reinstall latest directx.
If that does not help:
Check other games if they does have similar problems.

i already tied reinstalling eevrything
inculding registry restore unistall all dirvers including visontek display drivers NVDIA display drivers
but im not reinstalling my motherboard chipset drivers TOO RISKY!!

There shouldn't be any risks in reinstalling motherboard chipset drivers, flashing a bios is risky if you don't know what you're doing, but installing/reinstalling chipset drivers is just as simple as install display adapter drivers.

If I am not mistaken, you have Intel chipset mobo, you can grab latest Intel's drivers from here:
http://www.intel.com/design/software/drivers/platform/4301/inf_utility/infinst_enu.htm

Do not use them if you don't have Intel chipset in your mobo.

Zero, check out the flexible keyboards from coolerguys.com

I got the grey one, it's really quiet, but you need to learn to touch type. See, after about 4 months of use, the lettering (under the plastic/rubber cover) wears off -- this is where touchtyping comes in handy.
