An early version of a render someone I know is having me make for a B5 Homeworld mod called "Conflict of Interests"
Not too happy with it right now, but thought I would post it, get some input...
Bout the only thing I'm happy with right now is the Vorlon Dreadnought exploding...

I usually dont bother with the ambient lighting till I'm near finisehd...
This isnt near finished...
Not sure what its at...

Looks Good. YOu asked for input/advice, here is some:

- have some ships moving, and enable motion blurr, so it looks like a snapshot of a real action scene
- try to get one of the ships really close to the camera, or the move the camera close to one
- Have the Light behind the camera, so the scene is well lit
- Set ambient Light to 0-5%
- Add a second light blue light source from the nebula
- use MY warlock ( http://go.to/londo ) instead of Chris Sapianno's (hehe, kidding about this one)
