If you saw Icefire's post about the "more up to date files" you'll want to grab them. Basically we revved the .zip file containing the source code. Same name (freespace2_public_4_24_02.zip), but with updated contents.

Basically we put in more explicit copyright info in all the source files to clear up any confusion.


If you plan on using the code at all, you really need to have this new set so the copyright is clear.


Your best bet is to pretty much just blow away the project tree from the old zip file and just use the new one so there's no gray areas.

Also, like Icefire said, if you're mirroring the zip file or know someone who is, we'd really appreciate it if you'd update to the new rev.

And if you're the webmaster of another FS related site, if you could post this updated info for all to see, we'd be appreciative.
