RF: Mod And Level Manager
Recently I have been working on a program to manage all your custom ".vpp" files and I have come up with a program called RF:MALM (Mod And Level Manager).
Currently it can launch any of my mods in the "mods" directory, single player and multi player levels.
Eventualy you will be able to open selected ".vpp" files its default program. you will be able to Delete and Back-up files into a new directory called MALM.
If anyone would like to help me test this program please reply to this post.

Can you post a link to the WIP or do you want it to be a closed beta for now?

I have a URL but I dont want it to be avalable to the public yet.
I need to play about with the layout and work out some of the advanced fetures. like the file manipulation.
I sent you the URL, please post some comments here so i can make improvements, thanks in advance :-)

Hehe.. it works good for me. As it's still developmental, not sure what to comment on. One thing I noticed is that if you have nothing selected, it will still attempt to launch the game.. is this in error?

I Have Added a section to my program which allows users to run "All" the exsisting RF levels. (Glass_House, CTF, DM, Training, "Red Faction Game levels")
I am now Making a Button to load up listed .VPP files in the Default VPP Manager.

ONly thing is fozzy that will it be able to run maps with spaces in thier names ??, this was a flaw in freedumb's programs...if you went to run a map with spaces in its name it woudl give a 'can't open blah blah.vpp !!! but maybe this is not a issue with your one ?!!

If it cant run a map with spaces that means RF cant run a map with spaces, coz all my program does is launch a map through RF's command line:
====================================
Ime at college now so i cant test this theory:
make a level ".vpp" file and name it with a space, instead of running it like this:
RF.exe -Level My Level.vpp
Run it like this:
RF.exe -Level My%20Level.vpp
The "%20" means Space in internet explorer and windows, so it might work with RF, if someone could test this i would be greatfull, if it does work i will modify the program to include this.
====================================
Other Issues:
I am trying to find a C++ programmer to make me a DLL, or OCX that will alow me to open VPP files and VIEW there content, if someone could help me I would be greatfull because this means you can run the actual mission (.rfl) rather than the vpp name.
