I just bought freespace 2.... but I have a problem. The Intro is hanging..? it sounds like my plextor has some problems reading the dics. But it is brand new, and the cd looks perfect. I tryed it on 3 cd drives. same problem. Any idea?

Well the other way of doing it is to search for a program called MVE-Extract. The movies are coded in a format called MVE, and this program allows you to extract them to self running .exe movie files.

Unfortunaly Interplay asked the guy who made MVE Extract to remove it from his site because the .mve format is interplays own property and I guess they were afraig of someone "cracking" it

So you might have a hard time finding it.

Really sad thing to happen... Because intro is worth to see.
Mayby update would help? I got problem that it wouldn't want to read CD2 in game and couldn't play...

It also happens sometimes if you don't turn on 'Interlaced Cutscenes' inside the Setup menu in Windows.
