Where can I buy B5?
Hi to everyone
My question is: By whom can I buy B5 episodes in England?
Im Swiss but next week my mother is going to visit a friend in England. Some weeks ago, I read a post about a shop where you can buy cheap B5 episodes. I forgot the name of this shop, does anyone know it? And is there one of them in Birmingham?
2nd questinon: My favourite episodes are No Surrender, No Retreat, Severed Dreams and the film A Call to Arms. Are they still available and have I forgot some good episodes?
Thanks a lot

The shop is called "The Works" and is a book shop selling every episode of Babylon 5 although I'm not so sure about the films. The videos are £3 each, with "buy one, get one free". This effectively means that you can get four episodes (two videos) for £3. There is at least one, maybe more The Works shops in Birmingham but I couldn't tell you precisely where. Hope that helps

Thank you for your offer, but I've just got an isdn-line and that's too slow and at school we have only a adsl-line without a cd-burner.
But just another question, do they have dvds too?

Ashrak I'd be interested in the IRC address I still haven't seen all of season 1, 2 and 5 yet (due to Sci-fi splitting up). Wht I have seen of Season 1, and 2 has all been through d/l episodes.
On the other hand does anyone know if there is a "The works" shop in London? I tried a search for this once before and I could't find one anyone in the south of England (according to the net).

I'd also like to know the address (tristan.lomas@seh.ox.ac.uk). Even though I have all the videos (through ebay mainly) I would like to have versions on CD to watch at university on my computer.

There's one in Reading. It's in Broad Street Mall. I went there but they only had the first 3 series and not the 5th which is what I went for. I found that using yell.com.
I have done a search for it in London but found none.

If everyones looking for B5 vids, there are loads of them at Telfords 'The Works'. I think there are all of series 5, most of series 4, about 4 vids on series 3 nearly all of series 2 and about 3 on series 1. (when I say 3 on series 1, I mean different videos, not the number of 'em)

hi
Can anyone recommend me some more b5 episodes?
Maybe your top ten? My problem is that I saw all episodes in German and I don't know the English names.
And can anyone tell me the name of the episode where Ivanova fights against the Omega-xs? And what was the episode's name where the civil war ends? I think it was Endgame but I'm not sure.
Thanks for answering my questions

The episode you are referring to is "Between the Darkness and the Light" and is the episode immediately preceeding "Endgame". If I had to recommend some videos to get they would be:
Volume 10 - "The Quality of Mercy", "Chrysalis"
Volume 20 - "Divided Loyalties", "The Long Twighlight Struggle"
Volume 21 - "Comes the Inquisitor", "Fall of Night"
Volume 25 - "Exogenesis", "Messages From Earth"
Volume 26 - "Point of no Return", "Severed Dreams"
Volume 32 - "Shadow Dancing", "Z'ha'dum"
Volume 4.2 - "The Summoning", "Falling Toward Apotheosis"
Volume 4.3 - "The Long Night", "Into the Fire"
Volume 4.8 - "No Surrender, No Retreat", " The Exercise of Vital Powers"
Volume 4.10 - "Between the Darkness and the Light", "Endgame"
There are many other great individual episodes but in my opinion these are the best video sets, especially for covering the Shadow War and Earth Civil War. Buying all of these would only cost £15 in total

How would those of us in the US get these episodes? I had downloaded a bunch using Morpheus, but since they changed programs (Gnutella based now), the speeds are painfully slow - 15-20 hours to download one episode with a cable modem is unworkable.
I'd buy them up in a minute if they were available on DVD, but I've more or less given up on ever seeing them released in that format.
If someone has a link to where I could finish up my collection, I'd be appreciative. I'd trade episodes also.

DVD
About the DVD release:
A week ago i readt something about it: it was going to be by the ends of this year ( i suppose that 1st season). It will be my priority after the tFotR DVD, if they ever distribute it in Spain.
Oh, and Come the Inquisitor is one of my favourite episodes too...
The thing is, i dont think i could understand B5 in English very well, so id need subtitles

Re: DVD
Yes, I read something about that too. It was at firstones.com.
But when I understood it correctly, it's still rumour.
I hope that they will be published in Switzerland too.

Use eDonkey to get B5 episodes until they come out on DVD (if they ever do...).

Sorry, but I know nothing about newsgroups. Never dealt with them.
I assume there are lots of them, but where would one go to find B5 newsgroups?
I tried edonkey.com and saw nothing resembling B5 stuff there.
