According to PS2.IGN in this article, it looks like Volition's sister company, Outrage will now be publishing a game with THQ, owners of Volition. The new game is appearantly titled Alter Echo and will be announced some time in the very near future. The article also hints at a grim fate for Rubu Tribe, Outrage's game that was due out sometime last Christmas. This wouldn't come as a shock to me since there haven't been any updates on Rubu Tribe since last July (in 2001) and the game was supposed to be out already if I recall correctly. The good news of the article is that Outrage is now with a great publisher at least for this next game of theirs. Depending on what it is, we might actually even consider covering it here at Volition Watch. Keep checking back for more on this.
