you should watch endgame there you can clearly see how big is the G.O.D when a whitestar flyes by its twice the size of a WS

and the beam turrets of the sharlins make a different sound than in the mod.

The sounds are often misassigned by the sound editors in the show. I think one time even a Vorlon gun has a whitestar gun sound.

But you're right...I did not use the common Sharlin sound for the mod. It was a question of samples. I had quite some samples with different sounding Sharlin beams...but the clearest and best samples didn't use the common sound...but I used it...as there was no music or any other noise in it. (you cannot remove the music from a samples, if it is too loud or in the same frequencies as the sound).

I cannot recreate sounds due to my lack of sound synthesizers. But Laven is currently redoing and synthesizing some of my old and creating new sounds, which sound like the ones in the show...and the Sharlin beam sound, that you mean, is also there.

BTW...did you notice the sound of the slashing sharlin beams? It is not a Sharlin sound at all...that one came from the Excalibur...which is likely to have the same beam technology...

We're all for making things accurate, but we're also concerned with quality. If a certain sound is going to work better, then we'll use it. I'm VERY pleased with all of the work BlackSheep has done for this MOD. Sound effects, voice, you name it, he's done it superbly! We'll see what Laven can do when he gets some time to do it, but I expect some awesome things from him too.

Sharlin's are barely even heard or seen firing in Endgame anyways.

Yup, in Endgame the GOD sat seems to be about twice the size of the Whitestar, but Ashrak, since we haven'tgotten our hands on either of them we have no idea how the scale in the mod is going to work out.

But later on, when Aggamemnon's about to ram the final sat it looks pretty dinky in front of that Omega. Additionally, if GOD sats are that big then the forward pulse gus on the Omega produce some really BIG bolts...hmmm this wouldn't be the first error in scale we've seen in the show would it?
