My turn to get inside a Sharlin

A long time ago, when the mod first came out...
someone, said he rammed the sharlin and wind up
inside it.

Today while playing the Lady Rose's Nova-X mission...
(yes, I still hope in someway, I can save it from being
destroyed by 4 sharlins)
I rammed one from the front, (where the most obvious
beam cannon is) and went right through.

So there I was in side a sharlin. I stayed and shot down all
its weapons, and subsystems, then I called for rearm...
Just to see the pod ram itself on the sharlin trying to
get in.

Finally I destroyed it, almost killing myself in the process.
Then I jumped out, just missing the fighter beam of nearby
sharlins.... (I really wished that the other sharlins would
take a shot at me, and damage their own ships...)

So... that's my story.

I was making a mission where Nova-X beats 3 Sharlins and last one kills it, because public comment: why didn't Nova-X survived or atleast died in next mission?

But I dont have any ideas or any motives to do it. So it has been in start 1.5 week and there are nothing jump-gate, Alpha, Nova-X and 2 Sharlins.

So if anybody have ideas like you Hansioux, contact me

As we've said earlier, these are either bugs in the converter we use, or fs2 engine issues. We really haven't been able to pinpoint it to either case, and frankly, we're not interested in it. It happens VERY rarely, almost exclusevely on Sharlin, and we have much more important stuff to check around. I'm sure searching the code for something marginal and might-be as this isn't on top of Kazan's list.

But, the converter has received several updates since Release 1, and Sharlin will be reconverted to take advantage of new shading options now available to us for Release 2. The problems might go away, or not.

Well that's nothing new to fly inside a Sharlin... I've done it... And I've even flown inside Colossus and some Orion Class Destroyer in FS2

It already has been released....its Kazan's utility for the general MOD public, not just for this team. He has been instrumental in making sure that the software was available for the team however and that has been useful.

Oh, I thought you meant it had been updated very recently. The one I have came out last year, is that the newest version. If not where can I get the new one.

As far as I know, the latest of all Kazan's tools is at his page ... alliance.sourceforge.net or something like that.
