Are people having difficulties connecting to the bulletin board? I only ask because I have had a very, very slow connection (if it connects at all) all day and nobody has posted in the last five hours at usually busy times.

I was having problems too. I thought it was my connection because when I pinged our name server half of the packets sent were being dropped. I've had trouble before but I'm glad to know that it is not my connection. It is playing up however. This I know for a fact.

Yeah, last night I was trying to open the forums and it kept saying it couldn't connect to the MySQL server.

What would make it do something like this, other than server mismanagement? (and we know there's a lot of that)

What's wrong with the smilies? the only yellow ones are and . The rest are a tannish-brown

Those are UBB style smilies made by some of our users. The vBulletin smilies are styled just a little differently. They're almost the exact same, though.
