Armageddon DN needs help
I have got a prob. The model is nearly finished, but at this point my abilitis ends. Now I need some help from people who can finish that thing. (Tex, import, setting guns)
If someone wants/can help I will send him the files I have got.
Even when this ship is not a Original B5 ship I hope there is someone who finish it....please...

Can you?
Can anyone send me the Guns of the Nova and Omega and I need the Engine-parts.
Also I need a model of the ingame Nova (best in 3ds or 3dm) for size comparsion.
And is no one of the TBP Members (or someone else) out there who has got a little bit time and whants to work on this thing?
BTW what is the max/best polycount for Freespace Capships?

Thanks for the help
OK I will send you the files as sone as I can, but first I will try to reduse the poly count. At the moment about 900. To high for such an easy model. BTW do you use NURBES/Mesh or Surfaces?

To my shame I must say that these turrets are NOT my own. I use them here only to show how the ship would look like if I could finish it.

Yup a fusion reaktor has exactly the power of a sun *g*
OK now for real.
It has got
4 Beam in the front.
8 Twin Heavy Plasma Guns (like that one on the Nova)
7 Twin Small Plasma Guns ( the name says it. This is a smaller version of the Nova Gun.)2 Rocket Lunchers firing 6 Missiles each
20 "Flack" Gun / AAA or whatever you call the guns to shot down fighters.
The Nova has
6 Beams, 16 Twin H Plasma Guns und 2 whatever it is.
The Nova can power all it weapons. So my ships should also be able to do that and it is a little bit bigger then the Nova. Maybe we can install another Fusion reactor on it?

Hey, Armageddon's an appropriate name for something bristling with guns like that thing. 
You know, really, it's not realistic. But so what? I'd love to see that thing light off with every gun it's got ... even watching a Nova with all its turrets firing was sweet 
I mean ... there's a fine line, I suppose, between realistic (as in, the Colossus) and ludicrous (like that 23-km long Star Destroyer or whatever someone posted a while ago)

OK lets talk about realism...
First the Nova...
6 Beams and 8 Twin H Plasma Guns --> 4 Fusion reactors
Omega
4 Beam, 12 Pulse, 12 Anti Fighter Guns --> 4 Fusion reactors
Warlock
2 GOD Beams, 9 H Pulse, 3 Railguns, 4Med Pulse, 9Light Pulse, about 13 Anti Fighter.
OK now lets talk about my ship...
Arm-01 Armageddon
4 Twin Beam, 8 Twin H Plasma, 7 S Plasma, 2Rak, 20 Anti Fighter --> 5 Fusion Reactors
OK to reduce the Overkill effect lets say it can only fire the Beam, the AFighter Guns and the Raks at the same time.
Or I reduce the 8 Twin H Plasma --> 8 Twin Med Plasma.
Or both, but why should they install 5 Fusion reactors then?
Tell me what kind of weapons you would put on a Hull like this? I mean it is a DREADNOUGHT! The heaviest battleship in the Fleet.
And btw the psychological effect to see such ship Jumping into battle.... you will know fear!

Some of the turrets have to be scraped and befor I start turreting I'll have to check that all the needs for FS2 moddeling are met, flat faces and stuff like that.

To SHARK:
1: what are flat faces and what else do you need?
2: Dont delete to many turrets. BTW the files I will send you has no turrets on it. Maybe delete some of the AF turrets
To MOBVEKHAR:
Yes I also think that it doesnt manouvers very well. But if it jumps out of Hyperspace right in front of you ano then goes side to side. Who needs to manouver?
An other point is that it is built for attacks no defance. Because of that I would never let it fly alone. As part of a battlegroup it would do its best job.
Pleace it in the center of the formation or use it as spearhead and let the smaller vessels defend it against faster ships.
And remenber it has got many fighters with are lunched in seconds. (Every fighter has its own [cobra?] bay)
