Are you gonna add more real backgrounds?
Real nebula backgrounds makes the game more realistic.

the idea is to make the game look like B5.. not realistic.

I can't see any problem if people such as yourself want to make the game more realistic in any way you can. If genuinely useful contributions are made then they will always be appreciated.

Whether the team itself will sacrifice other areas of the mod's development for such goals is doubtful however. Much work has already gone into this area to produce the Z'ha'dum nebula and planet, the Earth atmosphere model, etc. and there is a wide variety of generic nebulae, stars and planets.
