Edwin- Please post less idiocy and stop asking us to e-mail you stuff.

Dear god man!!!

A) No one want's to e-mail you anything your heart desires.

B) Ask you mom for your own computer. One you can download with, and install decent software, a decent OS, and for GODSAKE ANYTHING besides AOL. Try pricewatch.com for good deals.

C) Don't mention Warez on this forum. It gets people mad. I learned that the hard way.

D) Stop whining. If you've already posted a complaint, don't post it again as a new topic hoping for a different response.

And above all
D) TRY working out problems yourself before coming to these guys with them. Most of this stuff is pretty rudimentary and these guys have better things to do than holding your hand- as in working on the mod.

Thank you though for cutting down on the punctuation. We have noticed the effort and appreciate it.


I'm not a moderator, and only a very loosly accociated member of the moding team. Therefore I speak only for myself. but I believe others would appreciate these changes aswell. You are infact the ONLY member of this board I have ever heard talk of baning. We're usually pretty tolerant.

Edwin, I have absolutely no idea of your age, what you look like, what you do in your spare time, and so on a so forth. Neither does anyone else on this forum. And that applies to me, to Fuzzy Modem and once again, everyone on here.

So, what does this mean. It means you and I are judged based on what you do on this forum. I could be a fuzzy green monster or have a nose that is 20 feet long and nobody would care because all they see of me is "IceFire" and what I say and do.

I probably come across as a intelligent, self imprortant, potentially arrogant, hopefully helpful, and otherwise opinionated person. Thats my perception of myself just for interests sake and I definately act differently here than on other forums, usually because im trying to set a prescident and trying to get across a viewpoint for this MOD. Such is the sacrifices that a leader must make.

Now, the point of all of this is that what we see of you Edwin is based on your messages. And most of these come in the form of questions that have been asked repeatedly before or two word responses that add almost no value to a discussion. If you're going to agree with someone, tell them them why. If you aren't agreeing with them, they them why.

Does this mean that everything I've posted is filled with meaning and opinion....certainly not, I've spammed a number of times (thanks to Griffon UK I believe for pointing it out in abudance) however, I don't do it every time I logon and I certainly do offer some sort of insight into whatever is being talked about at one point or another.

Now this is definately going into the realm of double standard but I think everyone agrees that with moderation (in terms of a balance, not a person who closes threads) things become acceptable to nearly all.

So Edwin, ask less questions that have already been answered countless times, provide more insight when you can and if you can't offer something more than two words, don't say anything at all - it probably wasn't worth it.

The spirit of B5's story was to ask good questions (because everything is a question) and I think thats all I can ask of you.

Now that is my long and drawn out response to your question. Its an opinion, I hope its a well formed one, and I hope it does some good.

I very much doubt that everyone "hates" you. I think some are displeased with some of the behavior you have displayed. Now everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I say to you: "learn" and I say to everyone else "be tolerant".

BTW: I also appologise for rambling. I've been writing some diary stuff for one of my courses and its prudent to be long and drawn out there
