A few renders

I made a few renders like night, so i thought i'd share them with you all:














btw the olympus is a retextured version, it will be in the next release. can you tell a difference? i dont mind if you say no

Nice renders! Too bad the barrels point upwards. It look kinda funny... So you have retextured the Olympus? It looks as if both you and I use the same base texture for your models :=)

You have to try it yourself when it comes out...looks sharper at close range now, better texture res.

kazan please expand are you talking about the renders or the textures themselves

yes i used some lightiing on the textures, on purpose, its gives a better look in game and a more 3d look, the old olympus is grainy and looks very flat

its helps the ship look more detailed and adds more variety to the hull, and it looks a load better ingame

Volition did it on a few textures too believe it or not. Works quite well and as CptWhite says, it avoids the flatness.

the SCENE lighting is wrong - the sun behind the ship and the ship being lit on the observer's side, no problem normally - but you'd have to make the planet's lighting show that too and you dont
