Here's a sneak peak at the new installer for Twilight being worked on by Avenger:


Files are automatically "swaped" so that your FreeSpace 2 installation is not effected by the campaign. You can even run multiple campaigns at once

Plans are for the Twilight re-release beta test after Halloween, and the public release sometime before Thanksgiving.

It includes the original 8 Twilight missions with reworked media such as command briefings (being done by Setekh) there are a few new surprises thrown in and overall the quality should match Volition's work. (weapons animations and cbs are still due to size constraints, and there is no voice cast in this release however)

Overall this re-release, and the planned tBE demo later in the year should give a good sample of what to expect in the final release of tBE, which will begin with Twilight, the demo, the interregum missions, and the full campaign. (overall the combined campaign is about the same scale as BWO or MT, with more focus on plot and tactical elements)

Looks good there with the installer. Avenger does some really nice work and it looks good too.
