okay. I am trying to make it pssible to fly ALL shivan fighters and bombers and use shivan weaponry. how do i go about that?

anyway (off the top of my head), you'll want to make loadout screens (overhead views), selection icons and techroom animations for all the ships, and add the 'player_flyable' (or similar) flag to their tbl entry... also set the Shivan fighter weapobns in weapons.tbl as player_allowed.

Also, in the Volition archives, there is a MOD for FreeSpace 2 that sets the Shivan ships and weapons to player usable.
