model request for next release
I have seen screenshots with battlecrabs and omegas which look pretty complete. I think since you guys are doing the giant Earth-Minbari war us amateurs are likely to be looking at Shadow missions to construct. It has been mentioned that true Shadow war missions would require ships from a dozen races, but I can come up with a few ideas with just EA stuff and a few battlecrabs. Any chance of those two being released in the next pack?

No idea....Shadows wouldn't take long to complete since most of the models are done. We'll see about that.
The Second release is definately EA centric with Omegas and all of that good stuff

Excellent...
Unfortunately, by actually releasing this demo you may have awakened the sleeping tiger of demand for more more MORE! I hope we can all be as patient as we have been for two years while you have been working so hard. I guess most of the reverse-engineering has been done and the "creative" parts are left. Based on what crap sits in Electronics Boutique these days that is the hardest part!

Would love to help, the only problem is that I don't have the money to buy expensive modelling programs, and modellers&texturers are probably the only thing you need right now.

You should really update your model status then.... I'm sure it's out of date.
I'd like to maybe try 1 or 2 things once my current project is finished, although I've never tried making something from 'real-life' before - normally I try and make it original in skinning, modelling, etc - so it would be a new challenge

I just read ice's plan, I like the plan had a look at the model page too
a few notes though
the thunderbolt model, while undoubtedly good doesnt look half like I remember it when sheridan is introduced to them as starfury MKIII when they take aboard the fighters from the destroyed rebel EA cruiser
it looked like a standard starfury with an streamlined (x-wing-like) nose, the gun mount on the front and the Folding atmospheric wings folded over the existing wings, a little shaped differently in the existing bits, but not so much as the model is changed
The Narn-Centauri release should be great, will be interesting how you balance the Narn Super-cruiser though one of my strongest cap-ship memorys from the series is 2 centauri cruisers hunting one of the few remaining free narn supercuisers, and the Narn ship literally cuts a centauri ship in half with its Huge Cutting-type Beam before The stations Commander ( cant remember which it was at the time ) managed to get them to stop fighting or he'd shoot them all
BTw, can someone post a picture of the Badger Starfury - there's no pic of it on b5tech.com, and I'm looking for some design ideas for the Claymore Mk.3 (non B5 ship)
