Okay guys, we've got together three downloads for everyone. These are the optional ones (animation, speech, high-res). It doesn't mean you can play the demo yet...but its the first half of the installment.

If your a 56K'er...then this could be a good time to start.

Additional Info on these files :

1. tbp-music contains the game music in wav format.

2. tbp-anims contains the briefing anis in Volition's special ANI format. If you want to take a look "just to see if they work" let me tell you you can't view them with common video players.
Actually , I coul tell you HOW to take a sneak preview but I won't

3. tbp-highres contains highres versions of our texture maps and of our ingame background art. Not even the backgrounds are operational in FS2 without the .tbl files that will come with the demo core files ( on friday , as we presume , possibly thursday )

They are self-extracting ACE-archives.
To use them , just click them and extract them to the \data folder in your freespace 2 directory.

Note : tbp-highres is the only archive that overwrites files that will come with the main demo in a few days . So , you have to install the main demo files BEFORE you install tbp-highres.

i will post the most crucial info again when the release is there in 2 or 3 days.

Currently , we are waiting for one voiceacting , we are trying to fix one last bug , we are polishing the tables, doing last changes to the missions and adding some "extras" .

Almost done with all three downloads.

God I love having a 10MBps ethernet connection

Please, as soon as you find out any mirrors post them here. I simply hate 3d Downloads. I can't get a jack **** downloaded from there.

If anyone has kazaa or morpheus im putting them online as soon as i finish downloading them. I sitting on a full T1 just do a search for the file names and grab em; i'll be leaving my computer on all night.
