Not bad A2597. Looks very good though something disturbs me on those Hyperions. They just look too... how would I put it. Smooth? Or then I'm just trying to piss you off...
But very nice, I liked it... [puts picture on desktop]

I converted the model.
(Along with just about every other one)
I'm 99% certain that the Hyperion fleet was modified to carry T'bolts...if not, then they most likely would be.

They thought about modifying them... But it wouldn't work with out reduced squadron size...
And what's wrong with StarFury? Pilot has better view out. You can't see nothing from Thunderbolt And it looks cooler...
Thunderbolt only has better armour (yes?)... And speed... And firepower... And, oh well...
StarFury still looks better...

Hyperion/Midwinter class heavycruisers have incompatible fighter bays for Thunderbolts, they can't be fitted for TB's without replacing the whole bay and that it not very cost effective because Alpha heavy cruisers are already an aging class.
Omega destroyers have very different fighter bay, it can easily hold any types of fighter or transport sized ships without too much trouble.
Edit: Aging Alpha class cruisers does not have any canon new cruiser class replacement, but Tempest advanced cruiser is usually considered almost canon because it's one of the best designs out there. It would be a very good new cruiser class, it uses same technologies than Warlock advanced destroyers.
