Making our own missions
I think this will be a major part in spreading the word of The Babylon Project.
Missions can be made on their own, but the general public, and we can send them out as unofficial ones to any sites that serve as a HQ for downloadable missions.
I plan on making some, rather good missions. I learned how to make missions from the great Icefire himself. Mine are coming along great, lately....minus the lack of balance.
Anyhow, anyone have any ideas brewing already? I would like to make a Severed Dreams mission, but since we dont have the station, I guess we can substitute.

Well, everyone out there who wants to make missions has 2 possibilities.
1. You have the MOD , you grab FRED2 , you set up a mission , you polish it , then you make it public and hope others will recommend it. Perhaps you even make a small 4 mission campaign. Well , and all the time you dream of how cool the mission ( or campaign ) would be if it had CUTSCENES , BRIEFING ANIS and FULL SPEECH .
2. What if you had the entire TBP team behind you to help you make this team come true ?
Instead of just creating a mission or a small campaign , how about really working out a script ?

So : Here is the deal . Use your brain. Write a script . a LARGE script . A really good script . A detailed script.
Then you read it . You improve it. You work it over , add new ideas....
and then when it is complete you foundate a CAMPAIGN TEAM and get the whole thing together. But remember , there must a script - a txt file for example - so all can work simultaneously.

Make campain based on Dark Distorted Mirror
That could be a nice, long campain right there. You are based on the Babylon, the last Earth Alliance capital ship still left after the 14-16 year long Earth-Minbari War, and are one of the Starfury pilots onboard it.
If you don't know the story here is the link...
http://www.b5-dark-mirror.demon.co.uk/index.html
It's a nice read... long though. I was able to finish each volume in about 3-5 days. The story is still incomplete, but its just the last volume.
I might get to work on it, the campain, as soon as I get the mod... and learn how to create models... and texture them... I've made a square
