Demo Status : situation with voiceacting.

Alright people.
Most of the actors have done their work , some are about to do it and one doesnt respond ( seems to be lost in hyperspace )

Waiting for
- Hicks
- Snipes
- Jim Pfingst
- JB

Those actors are not available and I think they will be replaced if they dont respond in recent time
- Krytor and Yvette
- Lark

So . All actors listet here respond and gimme status update.
The rest has already shipped us the audience which is processed by Black Sheep .
Blacksheep is the Head of our AUDIO-Team , I am his most active servant and organiser.

As soon as we have speech the demo release is a matter of days only , so HURRY UP PEOPLE

Snipes should have the samples in one week max.

Another note:

People don't feel insulted, if we do not accept your recordings. Some of you did not follow our directions and made bad quality recordings, which are too hard to modify for me!

Later....

Which did you like better (if any) the original recording or the updated one that I tried to make less boring? This was for the Yorktown.

Angry Tough time in New York...

I've been having a tough personal time with my machine... and then the Tragic attacks yesterday.

I'm working on my part, was prompted by some recent posts to redo it. Sorry for the delay. Will get it out as soon as possible.

PS I live in New York... It's bad....

One question...

Should I be making my voice files again? Or were they good enough for the demo?

If I have to make them again... then should I add some more emotion to them?

Any suggestions would be nice...

PS. Comparing my voice to example original Freespace 2 or I-War, my voice is handled like in those games...

Which part did you do?

Another note:

Before you make rerecordings of your samples, please contact me first. Some of you uploaded new samples on Seether's FTP, although the older ones were very acceptable and good!

I did the Napoleon part... still had my voice a bit whacked up because of my flue in those samples...

Samples are good, no rerecords required!

This samples are actually quite good so far. There is obviously some that are being worked on, but I've been impressed overall with the quality.

I'd say about 85% of all speech has been converted and is ready to be implemented into the missions....only a few actors haven't sent their samples yet...
