The Hud you got screenshots from has been slightly modified ( new reticle , adjusted RADAR screen ) and will be fully available for both resolutions.

That means the 1024*768 resolution and the 640*480 resolution are both FULLY supported by TBP.

I was just thinking if I don't like the the new HUD. (Last version I saw had something that could have been better. Hope it's better now...) But anyway. If you don't wan't to tell more about it then fine. I'll see it when I get it.

Is there a set palette for the reticle / lead1.anis? I amde new ones of each, same size but a lighter white, and they won't show up.... or is it hardcoded?

Yes. All HUD displays and pics have to have a special palette.
color and brightness of all displays ( including reticle ) can be adjusted in the FS2 menues. Hell , do you even KNOW Freespace 2, guys ???

P.S.
Thanks prophet . I wonder if 200MB+ files are worth a download. Well , If someone wonders if a few-kB file is WORTH the download he is either insulting me or a complete idiot.

So , prophet . what is it ?
If you have it and DONT like it simply delete it from the data dir.

what skular is saying is a picture of the hud would take up more of your valuable downloading time than downloading the hud for yourself when its released. then if you downt like it, delete it.
