Summoner reviews are now starting to trickle in. The latest is from Daily Radar. Here's a little snippet:

The good news is that Summoner is the best RPG for the PS2. The bad news is that it's also got some major flaws. An inexcusably shallow draw-in rate and the worst automap and world map combo ever seen in a modern RPG conspire to yank the coveted Direct Hit ranking away from what is, in all other ways, a stellar experience. The party dynamics are original, the story is intriguing and the plot twists will surprise even the oldest RPG veteran. Even the 3D combat is incredibly fun. It's just too bad it's so damn hard to find the dungeons -- and monsters can't be seen till they're close enough to spit on.

As far as we're concerned, but it's not. There's Orphen and like one other at launch I think.
