Firstly, incredible work you've done here

Secondly, I've been doing some modeling work for some time, but I'm still not happy with my work

So I was wondering if one of the staff would be willing to post an example texture up here (from a fighter), to give me an idea of how much detail to put into my attempts.

Seeing as the Bab5 work is the best I've seen, I figured this woulod be a good way to 'set the benchmark' for myself.

It's not that... i want to see the sort of detail on the indivdual maps, so I can try and get a similar in-game detail working clearly for my own models..... I think I've been able to fix it now, though.

well you could either wait for the mod, when you can just look at the maps that'll come with the game, or load up vpview and look at the freespace maps.
