If you are having trouble with the Derelict release this is probably why.

The campaign is installed in a compressed VP file which eliminates the need to have multiple mission and table files chewing up your FreeSpace directories. Here is where the problem comes in. If you previously downloaded the Derelict 0.99 release and did not remove the table and mission files, FreeSpace will be unsure as to which files are the actual ones to read from.

Simply, if you are having trouble with the Derelict full release and you have the 0.99 release, remove all your Derelict related files except the VP file and that should fix your problem.

Note: As said above, this is only an issue if you already had Derelict 0.99 already installed.
