I have just finished V1_3 of the new briefing icons. All the ships corvette class or bigger have their own icons.
In addition to this completely new tactical symbols for fighters / bombers / shuttles / transports / capitals / carriers .
Some light ships like the EA atmospheric shuttle and the crew shuttle also have own icons.

Total of 53 icons I think.
I just have to set up the tbl-file and make a readme so you can give it a try.
I will upload them in half an hour or so.

Some few ships are still missing , but 1_3 is not the final release and for the Demo it will be enough.....
