Hello campers, its Summoner Week at Daily Radar! To kick off the festivities of this week, they've posted an interview with our Camp Counselor and Assistant Producer Anoop Shekar! Here's a small portion of what Anoop had to say!

DR: Except for the games already released in Japan (Evergrace, Eternal Ring) Summoner seems to be strangely the only RPG that's set up to make the launch. Thoughts?

AS: RPGs, by nature, are very ambitious and require a great deal of resources to complete. We knew this when the team made the decision to make an RPG back in 1998. To develop an RPG while learning a new system can be even more challenging. I think we've done a great job of creating a compelling game that takes advantage of the new PS2 hardware. We are very fortunate to have some of the best programmers, designers, artists and writers in the industry that also happen to be gamers. They are very committed to making a game that they will want to play.
