Of course, we all want to see new ships, new weapons and new sequels. But that wasn't what I meant. I want to hear all those "If I could make a campaign just by thinking about it, I'd make it like this" ideas... such as in BWO you have the return to Earth, or a campaign where you are flying as GTVI behind Shivan lines only to discover blahblah... that kind of stuff.

Ahem.... to get back on topic... What i'd like to see is a campaign in which the GTVA goes guerrilla and makes a whole slew of surgical strikes behind Shivan lines. These missions would be missions where you would have to head straight for the target and get out cause if you spent any extra time on this cargo container and that fighter then you'd get absolutely swamped with fighters, etc... Let's do away with those missions where if you fly an Eriynes and have a Kayser and Maxim you can destroy every single enemy without a problem.

Another idea hit me...
A campaign where you fly as part of a super-secret GTVA force. This force was tasked during the second Great War with finding out exactly what evil plans the Shivans had and, if possible, dealing with them. Along the way you discover that the Shivans are using the Capellan sun to supply energy for something huge. It is decided that the threat of this whatever-it-is is to great to allow to exist, so this special GTVA force is tasked with stopping the Shivans at ALL COSTS. Along with the usual excellent timing on the part of GTVA scientists' research, your force uses the newely developed <techno-name-here> to cause Capella to go supernova! Of course, this was completely covered up by the GTVI for fear of reprecussions against the GTVA, etc etc.

FreeSpace Watch has just as much official content as Ross128 do. Nothing.

I visited Volition in the summer. Its not secretly being developed, its not hidden in Mike Kulas' offices. Whatever Ross128 and anyone else has a 99% chance of being totally false.

Once again, I'd like to be pointed to a specific article with factual information.

thats a point i wonder it terran command is as stupid, the gtva fleet would jump in and the earth fleet would say high then 2 mins later gtva command has declared war on a small outbound freighter with a sticker saying "my other ships an GTD Orion" on it.
