If there isn't a StarWars MOD, someone should just try and grab all the high res models from the XWA fan group that makes nice models for the XWA engine and use those.

Sound effects and music are plentiful

great start, though the stern looks a little wide, and the bow is wrong, it has a peice fitted into it that makes sort of a cap on the end.

here, take a look at this page for truly exceptional source material and examples.
http://www.swma.net

unfortunatly they apear to be moving, so here is another link until they are done,
http://www.desktopstarships.com/sw.html

infortunatly they deal only in the finished images, but they do provide links and/or addresses to the artists were available.

The turbo laser fire from the ISD looks a lot better than in XWA; much more like in the films.

You could put beam cannons on it as well....

How are you getting around the fact that Imperial StarDestroyers have shields?
That fact would give them a distinctive edge against anything in the Freespace Universe (except maybe the SD Lucifer).

I personally like the main hanger bay feature, can you get fighters launching/docking there?

Have you any other ship mods working, apart from the TIE fighter you have already mentioned?

i thought i would do two versions one with an acual sheild grid - but i'm not sure if the sexps allow you to remove sheilds say whena subsystems is destroyered but that would only be for those whos computers dont object to cap ships with sheilds anyway - and for teh rest just half the hit points when the the shields gens are blown like icefire said

KillMeNow can i talk to you about making a campaign together...I've been working on some Tie/Fighter's...the orginals including the interceptor and some new ones. And I think I have found a way to place these MOD's into FreeSpace and make them go with the FreeSpace 2 story line. I also have a couple of stations made, but I cannot put textures or turrets on them. I was going to use this story-line for a tachyon MOD, but ppl would like SW better. I can't talk about the story here cos it would give too much away....shhhhhhhh.....my ICQ is 109776547 and my e-mai is hannibal_lechtor@hotmail.com
