I am currently in th emidst of campaign building, it is coming along well however I am adding things to the tables now as well. However if I edit the ships.tbl in the fs2 directory won't it be changed for when playing the game or is this where I should be adding my own table in the data/tables directory and the computer knows to use that one?

Plus does anyone know of a good site that has fs2 craft on it. They seem to be spread all over the place. Is there a good site for all the ships or at least more than the odd few?

goto voalition watch archives.That has most of them.Another big mod site is HLP.

thats were the mods are,but i dont know much about table files,sorry.

Welcome to the VWBB Spud! Here's a rundown of what the staff does here:

IceFire and Ace do general maintenace.
Remora keeps the forums running.
Plasma...not sure what he does.
Orange...not sure either; he's been gone awhile.
Remora, Orange, and Plasma made the VW Oracle.
Max Sterling...not sure why he joined; he already heads the Robotech->FS2 mod. He's cool though.

There are more admins but I can't think of them right now.

Yes, the game looks at data/tables before the root_fs2.vp file. You can just extract the table with VPView and do your edits
