anyone know how to make the screen for loading weapons into ships? i just been trying to use one from another ship and taking a copy of the skin of the shivan fighters and placing it in them but when i start freespace its not there and yeah i have set it in the ships.tbl to look for it please help.....please.......pleaaaaaaseee..

is it a pcx file, at 256 colors?

and the right size?

yeah pcx 256 colour depth in the interface folder - what about the two sizes? do have to make sure they follow that same format as with the original ones?

ok different problem now i been trying to creat an ani file for the little icon for selecting a ship and i used ac.exe and its messed up the green back ground chaging its colour - once again i must ask am i doing something wrong or is there abetter program that wont mess it up?

YEah, theirs a new one out, where is it though? descent-network.com?

I'm not sure... It is an ani creator, and it tells you that you must have the palletes match exactly.... which isn't easy...

who needs one frame ani's i did it just make the image up in the same image then copy the segments you want out and paste them as new images and then they all have the same colour palette just wondering now though if i could make it look better - i only went with jus tthe shape without any texture on it which is all you really need but the offical ones acaully look like minature ships
