ive been trying to find red faction for ages with no luck

1) when is it comeing out in the us & uk

2) where can i get it (not on the net)

4) how does it relate to quake.

5) why did i post this in a new topic

2.) Nowhere.. unless you wanna pre-order.. in that case you can pre-order from sites such as Gamestop and others.

4.) By taking every aspect of Quake and every other game and improving on it 100%.

Red Faction is gonna kick ass. It's going to be the most realistic FPS ever. Thanks to Volition's Geo-Mod Engine(short for geometry modification) you'll be able to use demolition weapons for...demolition! You can blow a hole in a building with a remote mine! Instead of shooting a group of soldiers with the Assault Rifle, you fire a rocket into the ceiling above their heads and cause it to cave in on them! You can take your Flamethrower, turn off the igniter, spread some fuel around an office, then step back and ignite it! Having trouble with that tank? Use the Machine Pistol's secondary fire mode (armor-piercing rounds) and kill the pilot. In short, it's gonna be the most realistic FPS ever made! For more info, read the December issue of Game Informer, and make sure to check out Red Faction Watch, redfaction.volitionwatch.com. As for release...USA, Spring 2001. Everywhere else...No idea whatsoever. Sorry if I got off-topic.

I want Descent 4 back..... My opinion of ground-pounders is dismally low. The vehicles might help, but I REALLY want Descent back.

do you think there will be potental for mods
and a mission editor

i cant weight to get it so i can play with the files and make new guns and biger explosens,

i can just emagene blowing up shivens face to face, now that will be a mod !!!!!

naaaa

does any one know what the files are
ie: pof , pcx , tbl

whhooooaaarrrrrr ive got to get it

Descent is old. Red Faction will change video games in to a revolution. A Descent 4 will never turn in to anything if ever made.

FREESPACE 3 WITH GEOMODDING!!!

Or any Space Sim from Volition with Geo Modding will suffice.

That would bring Space Sims from its grave, something that FS2 was capable and still is of doing, with proper advertising!!


To get back on topic, im looking forward to seeing what Red Faction does, but not excited because im no FPS type player.

Would love it if they had an editor with it though.
