I wanted to make a post, but didn't know what to write, so...

Did anyone notice that the ships in FS2 are soooooo different from the ones in FS1?

Look at the Shivans... no purple, or smoothness in the new ships whatsoever...

I mean, take the Mephisto, for example... If you check the pof, theres weird blue green, and purple..
Not on the Dis... It's so strange...

Yup, I noticed that too; that's why there's a theory that there are 2 Shivan factions. The first faction as the single Lucifer that we destroyed in the Great War and are very aggressive, and the second faction has a bazillion Sathanas juggernauts that are less aggressive. (ie. didn't mop the floor in every GTVA system)

I have another theory (yes another one).

The lucifer was a top secret Shivan special weapon, to test the feasibility of capship shielding. It worked on the Ancients (their earlier test subjects) and they needed one more test to see it would be worth it for them to do that more often.

Guess who the guinea pigs were...

Anyway we beat the Lucifer and its fleet (barely) and kicked the shivans out of our space.

So they decided to stop toying with us and wanted us to acknowledge their superiority. Thus they sent 80 juggernaughts to Capella to show their strength. Boom.

We didn't know how to bow down to them so we had to close the nodes to Capella and rebuild.

Hmmmm......


The way I see it, I think that the Lucifer fleet was a search party fleet, seeing as there wasn't another one in fs2...


The weird colors are to associate the fighters and bombers with the cruisers and destroyers.


Also, the lacking of sheilding on Demons and Ravanas make me think that the Lucifer was the only ship ever created with sheilds that can withstand beams...


Plus, the Rackshasa doesn't look like the lilith at all...

They made a "Game of the year" version w/ 20 new missions, and they are selling it for like $40.......

Do any of you have those missions?

I wanna play them!!!


...Anyway, Why is it that in the game, the 'Vasudans' didn't get like, any..., ships?!
