Since I am new to the Babylon Project, I don't really know what it is capable of.

I downloaded the release 2 mod, and when using Fred, I find that alot of the ships are missing. I was really looking forward to a battle between some Shadows and Whitestars to watch, but I didn't see any option to make them in Fred. Am I missing anything? Is there anything besides what I saw with the release 2 download that I should have? Is there another site with more download options?

We were still building them...no idea what their present status is but the WhiteStar was a big problem for me. To get it to look good it'd have to fly at 200m/s which is at least 100 m/s faster than anything else...problem being the AI doesn't really do anything with that speed advantage. And compaired to a T-Bolt, WhiteStars are huge.

There is nothing official but there are some satalite campaigns that have made shadow ships etc.

Have a look around the forum.
