I have a couple questions.

1. Where can I get a copy of freespace 2? I've seen a couple copies on ebay and at amazon, but they are going for like $80 at least.

2. Pardon my ignorance... but since the source code has been released, does that mean one can copy the game and share it legally? And if so, could someone get me a copy... I dont care to have an original. I'd pay someone!

P.S. I in no way support illegal copying of games or any software... I would more than willingly pay for a copy... just not 100 bucks to some scalper on Ebay.

I don't know why I just spouted that randomness, doo a google search fro freespace and hotu, you should be able to find a DL of it, or visit HLP, or wait for someone to give you a better answer

That DL didn't work for me. Just got empty pie dish.

So I ordered the FS1 + FS2 White Label pack from a netshop. Cheap and handy.

if HOTU isn't your thing you could probly find it on Kaza or E-Mule(or some dirivitive there of)

If you REALLY want a copy (and live in the continental US) you can order FS2 through two merchants at this site: Http://www.schoolpop.com

EDIT (I just re-checked the link it works fine. When you get to the page, simply go to the BLANK field next to Search for all categopries. Go to the BLANK box and manually TYPE in this, FREESPACE 2 (See how i put a space between the word and the number?) this brings you to ONE of the merchants, he sells FS2 for $29.99 plus shipping. the otehr guy I don't know how to find, search for yourself... BUt I think he sells it for $19.99 plus shipping. Here as you can see they sell FS1/silent threat packs and other FS merchandice... Enjoy, I hope this helps someone, L8TR!
