I'm having problems with this mission. Its does look really cool been in hyperspace but just what are you supposed to do?

I am told something is following me so I drop back 2000k, come back, recieve the message about nav update, but what then? What do I do? Have left the Fury flying for ages but nothing happens. Any help gratefully accepted.

Check for a faint purple spot on your radar, head for it.

Wow, a Omega-X, looks very menacing! Nice textures. That came as a bit of a supprise! Trouble is I keep getting wasted. I know you can't take the thing on, but everytime I do the heroic thing and run away I get vapourised by its beam weapons. Also my Alpha wing men don't last long againist its fighter screen. Any clues?

Damn right they have! I must have tried that mission 17 times... then I looked in FRED and found there was no debriefing

I actually managed to beat it and destroy it - although I suspect it was a glitch because the thing didn't fire back. When I finally found the Alexander again, it was just sat at the waypoint not moving.

You have to do a version of that mission with an objective because it was so engrossing to play.

Oh well....was still a nice supprise to see the Omega-X. Now that I know you can't win I'll try to explore it to view from as many angles as my luck provides....
